MaryAnn Toboz has enjoyed a professional career spanning more than two dozen years.   She has developed and implemented communications plans, public relations and fundraising programs and created training programs in nonprofit management and administration.   

She also has enjoyed a side career spanning a lifetime of singing, playing, instructing and performing musically and dramatically.   Her performing arts activities include productions in Washington, D.C. dinner theater and little theatre, and years as lead singer and instrumentalist for rock and alt. folk./rock groups in Washington, DC and Dare County, NC.   She has presented hundreds of music programs to all types of special needs groups since 1993.   

Currently, MaryAnn works part-time with the Norfolk Commission of the Arts and Humanities to coordinate, publicize and present more than two dozen programs annually through Arts Within Reach, including performances with artists from the Virginia Arts Festival, Virginia Symphony, Virginia Stage Company, local choral groups and others.   She has worked as a Training Coordinator with Volunteer Hampton Roads, Leadership Giving Manager with United Way in Salt Lake City, and Regional Public Relations Manager with ALLTEL in Virginia Beach.
